Since 1845, the Robaina Family has been producing excellent tobacco on their plantations located in Cuchillas de Barbacoa, in the San Luis tobacco district, in the Vuelta Abajo producing area.

The Vegas Robaina brand was created in 1997, as a tribute to all Cuban growers through the figure of Alejandro Robaina, for having achieved high yields at the time. Therefore, this brand also honors all those anonymous producers thanks to whose knowledge and skills the prestige of Habanos has been created.
