Punch is one of the oldest Habanos brands. Don Manuel López de Juan Valle y Cia founded this brand in the middle of the 19th century, with the idea of attacking the growing English market, where a humorous publication of the same name was fashionable in those days.

Mr. Punch, the clown who was a symbol of that publication, continues to appear on each of the brand's boxes with his Habano in hand, surrounded by 19th-century images that show the making of Habanos, and which are practically the same as which today can be seen in the factories of Cuba.

In 1931, Punch moved to the factory where Hoyo de Monterrey was produced; a long association that continues today. Today the 2 brands are produced in the La Corona factory.

The characteristic flavor of Punch, of medium strength, made with a blend made up of filler leaves and binder from the Vuelta Abajo area, is available in a range of vitolas that are made Totalmente a Mano with Long Filler.
