If there is a particularly famous Habanos factory in Havana, that is the Partagás Factory. It is located at No.520 of Industria Street, just behind the Havana Capitol, in the heart of the city. The factory was created in 1845 by Don Jaime Partagás, and since then it has been producing this prestigious brand of Habanos.

A Partagás is immediately recognizable for its rich and intense flavor. The character of its blend, made up of filler tobaccos and  selected binder, from the Vuelta Abajo area, is of inimitable richness and aroma.

The Partagás vitolario is characterized by presenting a great variety of shapes and sizes, Lusitanias and  8-9-8.

As regards the Partagás Series, created in the 1930s, the Series D No. 4 has become the best-known Partagás vitola. In 2005, the Series P No.2 was added, a pyramid that quickly became a preferred Habano for lovers of strong-flavored cigars.

In 2011, the new Series E for 54 ring gauge Habanos with its Series E. No. 2 vitola, and the Series D No. 5 extend the Series again.
