Quintero is one of the few Cuban brands that was not born in Havana. Its founder, Agustín Quintero settled in the city of Cienfuegos, also called the Pearl of the South.

All the tobaccos with which the blend of this brand is made come from the Vuelta Abajo and Semi Vuelta areas.

Quintero Habanos are made using the Totally Hand technique with Short Filler to obtain their characteristic medium flavor.
