The Juan López brand was created by a Spaniard of the same name in the 1870s.

It is mainly known in small circles of smokers, but who have a large dose of loyalty to this brand. Selection No.1 and especially Selection No.2 basically make up the brand's vitolario.
​
All its vitolary presents a consistent flavor, and is made up of vitolas made Totalmente a Mano with Long Filler, with a blend made up of filler leaves and binder from the Vuelta Abajo area.
