Hoyo de Monterrey owes its origin to the plantation of the same name located in  San Juan y Martínez, in the heart of the area of  Back Down.

The plantation of  Hoyo de Monterrey, one of the most famous  Top Vegas  , is located there with the famous inscription on its entrance door: “Hoyo de Monterrey. Jose General. 1860”.

The smooth flavor of its blend makes it an attractive option for those who like a Habano of lesser strength, delicate and aromatic, with great elegance and complexity.

In the brand vitolas such as the  Double Crown  and the prestigious  epicure series  with their vitolas  No.1  Y  No.2, which is enriched in 2008 with the  Epicure Special. On the other hand, the Le Hoyo series is also distinguished by its fine and medium caliber formats.
 

In 2005, in Hoyo de Monterrey, the first  Petit Robustos  of Habanos, ring gauge 50 and shorter than the robust. Since then it has been one of the preferred Habanos for those who enjoy thick ring gauge formats, but who have little time to enjoy them.
